We are unable to take on clients that live in 1st floor flats (or above) as the vans must be kept in our line of sight at all times.
We do not accept any dogs into either group with a bite history.
We do not accept any dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act.
We have a zero tolerance policy with aggression and reserve the right to terminate services should any dogs behaviour demonstrate a present or possible risk to the group and/ or staff.
Failure to pay will result in immediate termination of services.
We strive to work with owners to provide the best care possible. Where misleading information has been provided or information has been intentionally omitted regarding a dogs behaviour and/ or bite risk, this will be reported to the local dog warden without delay.
Acceptable Behaviour Rules
Big Bear aims to provide. safe and enjoyable space for all its clients dogs.
In order to maintain this all dogs must consistently present with social behaviours.
Dogs will be removed from the group immediately if any of the following concerns are raised:
- Persistently hump others (or other sexual behaviours such as genital licking and/ or sniffing that irritates other dogs).
- Obsess over particular dogs to a degree that causes tension or stress between dogs.
- Show aggressive behaviour towards other dogs or people
- Are possessive over treats/ toys to a degree that causes tension or stress between dogs or poses a risk to people
- Frequently soil the van with urine and or faeces.
